Sneakers of Mine : Nike Cortez
HISTORY: This Model was released in 1972 as the Tiger Corsair, and in 1972 it was renamed the Cortez after the partnership between Nike and Onitsuka Tiger disintegrated. The original model was in leather with seven lace holes, was also produced in nylon and suede models in the 70's. A women's version was also released called the Senorita Cortez. The Nike Cortez was reissued in the mid-90's and in 2003 the Cortez was added to the Nike ID lineup, allowing fans and collectors to personalize their Cortez . The Nike Cortez is available in Basic, Deluxe, and Nylon editions
REMINDER: Tom Hanks wore a pair of Nike Cortez in the movie Forrest Gump.
One of my first passion,in term of shoes,is been this pair of Nike Cortez .
I bought them in 1995,they are all white (base color, swoosh and laces) i worn them million of times to go up and down in the city and to travel cause they're really comfy.
TIPS: for those who never had a pair: the sole is really puffy and soft,at first you wear them you feel like to walk on the moon
